A legal education can open doors professionally and enrich your life. The traditional three-year law degree held by lawyers is the Juris Doctor (JD) and forms the foundation of CSU|LAW’s strong academic curriculum, but we were an early adapter to recognize that legal education can benefit professionals with diverse professional backgrounds, goals, and life plans. In addition to our excellent JD, we offer a slate of degrees, concentrations and certificates to enhance multiple career paths.
Degrees
The Juris Doctor (JD) for those who wish to earn a degree that allows them to become practicing members of the bar. The part-time online JD allows students to complete a law degree online.
The Master of Laws (LLM) a post-JD degree for those interested in advanced training and legal research, or for foreign attorneys who need academic credits in order to practice in the U.S.
The Master of Legal Studies (MLS) for professionals who work regulary with laws and regulations who could benefit from applied legal knowledge but who don't plan to practice law or sit for the bar. The Online MLS in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy trains professionals to work with the legal aspect of the fast growing fields.
