Kenneth J. Kowalski

Clinical Professor Emeritus


Primary Information

Bio:

Following graduation from law school. Professor Kowalski clerked for the Honorable Judge John D. Holschuh of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He then practiced law, specializing in employment discrimination and other civil rights litigation. Professor Kowalski also served as General Counsel to The Housing Advocates, Inc., a not-for-profit public interest organization that represents low and moderate income persons and community groups in discrimination and other housing matters. He has worked in CSU|LAW's Clinical Program since 1989.

Professor Kowalski is a member of the Ohio Bar as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, Sixth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. He has tried, briefed, and/or argued cases in various administrative agencies, Ohio Municipal and Common Pleas Courts, the Court of Appeals for the Eight District of Ohio, the Ohio Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
