Monday Morning Message 12.17.2018: We are Rising.

When the law school offered me a scholarship, I asked my sister to read the letter for me because I just couldn’t believe that something so good was happening to me. Seeing how many people invest in this institution really made me study as hard as I can.” -Erica Molnar ’18

“My brother and I are the first generation to go to college….By choosing C|M|LAW, I was choosing to put the weight of the alumni network behind me and that it was worth its weight in the extra loans and money that it would cost me… Looking back… I made the right choice.” -Kimberly Kendall Coral ‘12

This is my final Monday Morning Message of the year; we’ll resume Monday, January 7, 2019.

On this day in 1903, Orville and Wilbur Wright made the first successful fight in history of a self-propelled aircraft. In the spirit of the Wright brothers, we are a law school on the rise.

In these final days of 2018, please invest in our flight by making a tax deductible gift to Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. No contribution is too small. Please donate here: Please Invest in Our Flight. We are On The Rise. It would mean a lot to us.

For a number of our students, a scholarship made the difference between getting a legal education or sacrificing their dream. Without the scholarship support we received from so many alumni and friends, we would not have been able to enroll the largest first year class in four years.

Now, we must do it again, and it won’t be easy in this extraordinarily competitive law school environment. But we do have a distinct advantage… we are rising.

The teaching, scholarship, and service of our faculty has never been more impressive. The work of our staff has never been more tireless. The quality of our students has never been higher and their efforts never more inspiring. The support of our alumni and friends has never been stronger.

We are a law school on the rise, and the below infographic tells some of the story of our trajectory.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year – may 2019 be a year of rising to new heights.

Believe in C|M|LAW. Please Give Now.

Have a great day. Have a great week.

My best,

Lee
