What motivated you to attend law school?

Law school had always been in the back of my mind since high school. After a year in the sports industry, I ended up applying to law school in order enhance my skills and hopefully pursue my dream of becoming a leader within the sports industry.

Tell us about your legal work experience (law clerk, externship, internship, etc.).

My legal work experience includes serving as legal assistant to the Vice President of General Counsel at the Cleveland Cavaliers where I learned the fast pace of a thriving business and the legal issues presented, not only in sports, but in business as a whole. I also have experience in a traditional law firm setting as summer associate in both, domestic relations and business law. My externships took place in college sports as a Compliance Assistant at the institutional and collegiate levels.

What are the best qualities you will bring to a legal employer?

I will bring my work ethic and perseverance to my next legal employer. Due to my experience in sports, I pride myself on being coachable and determined. I always bring a good attitude and am able to remain self-motivated through the most difficult of projects.

What are your goals for your legal career?

My background is versatile and I continue to be open-minded. I’d love to have a solid work-life balance working for a company that appreciates its employees. While the sports industry is my passion, I am excited to see what my next chapter holds.
