FOR CURRENT UNDERGRADUATES IN CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY’S HONORS AND SCHOLARS PROGRAMS
Students who currently are enrolled in Cleveland State University’s Honors College or the Scholars Program are eligible to apply to Cleveland State University College of Law through a special program that guarantees* students a spot in the CSU|LAW’s entering class immediately after graduation, provided that they:
- Complete the Honors Program or as University Scholars in good standing and receive a bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University;
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above;
- Complete the application process at CSU|LAW;
- Take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) no later than March;
- Apply to the law school no later than May 1. (Earlier application is highly encouraged.)
- Submit an application that does not contain issues pertaining to Character and Fitner
Admission is guaranteed only if enrolling in the law school’s fall entering class immediately following graduation from Cleveland State University.
*Note: Any candidate whose application presents issues relating to Character and Fitness is not automatically guaranteed admission. Admission of any applicant who presents issues relating to Character and Fitness is on a case-by-case basis.
Students admitted through the Honors College or Scholars Program relationship with CSU|LAW are not obligated to attend CSU College of Law and can may apply to and accept admission other law schools.
Students are encouraged to submit an Honors and Scholars Program Law School Intent to Enroll Form as early as possible during their Freshman, Sophomore or Junior years.
