This past Saturday we hosted our first-ever C|M|Law Legacy Celebration. A C|M|Law Legacy is an alumnus, alumna or current student whose parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, or spouse/life partner also received a degree from C|M|Law. Over 60 alumni legacies from 16 families attended and each were given our new C|M|Law Legacy pin. A few families had as many as 7 members of their family who graduated from C|M|Law!
The C|MLaw Alumni Association and its President, Chief Magistrate Greg Clifford '80, co-sponsored the event. Professors Peter Garlock, Ken Kowalski, Steve Lazarus, Milena Sterio, and Alan Weinstein each spoke with pride about their years teaching at C|M|Law. Special thanks toAmy Miller, Director of Alumni and Donor Relations, Ashley Presutto, Development Manager, and Nina Nager’17 who coordinated the very successful event.
We will be doing features on many of our Legacy families over the coming year, so in this message, I’ll focus on our 5 graduating students:

Vince Lombardo '81 wrote: “Barbara and I thoroughly enjoyed the Family Legacy event last night! In concept and execution, it was one of the very best C|M|Law-CMLAA functions that I have ever attended -- and that's saying something! It was very moving to see Cleveland-Marshall's influence on so many families. …..”
We unveiled our first-ever C|M|Law Legacy Trivia Game at the event. If you would like to participate, Here is the link. You must submit your answers by Friday, May 5.
I’ll give you the answers in next week’s Monday Morning Message. The winner (the person with the most correct answers) and a guest of their choice will have lunch with me and a current professor of your choice. (P.S. I put this at the end because this is also a test to see whether anyone actually reads my entire Monday Morning Message.)
Have a great week.
My best,
Lee
