The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law moot court team of Brandon Brown, Bobby Galinas, and Kelly Wallenfelz placed second at the 29th Annual August A. Rendigs National Product Liability Moot Court Competition hosted March 11-12 by the University of Cincinnati. The Cleveland-Marshall team’s second place finish is especially impressive as all three advocates are first-year team members and were in their first moot court competition.
The August A. Rendigs, Jr. National Moot Court Competition is the only national competition devoted to product liability law.
Cleveland-Marshall reached the final round of competition by qualifying as one of eight teams to advance from the preliminary round stage. The team then advanced through the quarterfinals and semifinals of head-to-head, single elimination competition to argue in the finals at the En Banc Courtroom of the Sixth Circuit.
