All law students begin law studies with the Required Core Curriculum (RCC): Contracts, Torts, Property, Civil Procedure, Legal Writing, Criminal Law, and Constitutional Law. Your specific schedule will depend on the JD program into which you are admitted: Full-Time Day, Part-Time Online, or Part-Time In-Person.
Full-time students complete the RCC – with the exception of Constitutional Law - during their first academic year. First-year courses for day students generally run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.
