Once the Required Core courses are substantially complete, students may take elective coursework. Browsing Courses by Practice Area can help guide the choice of electives in order to build a stronger knowledge base in an area of legal interest. Additionally, Cleveland State University’s excellent academic colleges give law students the opportunity to further distinguish their degree through interdisciplinary study in up to eight semester hours of graduate coursework.
